Accountability Waiver Public Survey

The ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵapp (NYSED) is seeking stakeholder input on a potential waiver request to the United States Department of Education (USDE) related to making school and district accountability determinations based on results from the 2021-22 school year under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
NYSED is accepting responses to the survey through 5:00p.m. EST on Friday, November 19, 2021.Ìý The survey results will be valuable in the development of a possible waiver.Ìý If the Department moves forward with a potential waiver, that document would be made available approved for public comment and be presented to the Board of Regents prior to submission to USDE.
