Co-Teaching Administrator's Guide
The Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages (OBEWL) has releasedAn Administrator’s Guide for Supporting the Implementation of the Co-Teaching Instructional Model Within Integrated ENL Settings. This guide, developed in collaboration with our partners at the Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (RBERN), is designed to empower school and district leaders with the tools they need to strengthen co-teaching practices.
The guide includes into two key areas:
- Why Ƶapp State Uses an Integrated ENL Co-Teaching Model– Discover the benefits of this approach in providing ELLs with equitable access to grade-level content while fostering language development.
- How to Successfully Implement Integrated ENL Co-Teaching– Packed with practical tips, this section equips administrators with strategies for building strong co-teaching teams, scheduling effectively, and fostering a collaborative culture.
